A Four-Season Chalet at the Heart of a World-Class Ski Domain

Chalet Sarenne — Oz-en-Oisans (Oz3300), Alpe d'Huez Grandes Rousses

Chalet Sarenne isn't just a ski chalet — it's a four-season alpine retreat designed for those who want it all: ski-in/ski-out access, breathtaking mountain scenery, and a warm, luxurious home base for up to 15 guests.

Perched at the top of the Oz-en-Oisans ski resort, nestled at the edge of the forest in one of the sunniest spots on the mountain, the chalet sits just 100m from the Alpette Gondola. From there, the entire Alpe d'Huez Grandes Rousses ski area opens up — 250km of pistes connecting Oz-Vaujany and the Grand Domaine de l'Alpe d'Huez. The legendary Pic Blanc summit at 3,300m is just three gondola stops away.

World-class skiing, right outside your door

With 250km of runs, Alpe d'Huez is one of Europe's premier ski destinations — and Chalet Sarenne puts you at the heart of it. The Alpette Gondola, just 100m away, connects you directly to the full Grand Domaine. The resort village centre, with its restaurants, ski school, bakery, and grocery store, is just a 5-minute walk or ski away.

In 2025, the resort began a series of important infrastructure investments: the Poutran Gondola was entirely replaced and now links into the same station as the DMC/Pic Blanc 2 on Alpe d'Huez; a new tourist office was opened in Oz3300 and a padel court was built just 100m from the chalet. In the Alpe d'Huez sector, the DMC/Pic Blanc gondola cabins were completely renewed, as was the cabin on the Pic Blanc Telepherique (reaching 3,330m).

Between 2027 and 2030, the resort plans to renovate the summit station at 3,330m and build a new Sarenne gondola, making glacier skiing more accessible. To learn more about the resort's development plans, visit the Altitude 3300 Project.

A chalet built for comfort and togetherness

Built in 2009 using traditional alpine materials, the chalet's 280 m² spread across four levels strike the perfect balance between authentic mountain character and modern luxury:

  • 6 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, sleeping up to 15 guests
  • Open-plan kitchen, dining room, and living room with fireplace
  • Private sauna and jacuzzi
  • Heated ski storage room
  • Games room with ping-pong table and second TV
  • Two-car enclosed garage
  • Large outdoor terrace with mountain views
  • Linens included; baby cot and highchair available

Beyond winter — a summer mountain paradise

Oz-en-Oisans is one of four villages that make up the Grandes Rousses - Alpe d'Huez domain, and it shines in every season. The car-free village centre has an effortlessly charming, unhurried atmosphere. In summer, the area becomes a mecca for cyclists — sitting at the foot of some of the Tour de France's most mythical climbs, including the legendary Alpe d'Huez ascent with its famous 21 hairpin bends.

Whatever the season, the resort offers everything families need: a crèche, ski school (ESF), restaurants, a bakery, and a grocery store — all within easy reach of the chalet.
